Our casting host, as well as myself, found out some very interesting things about how to proceed with this program. I tried to spend a few moments with a large pad to offer a 5-10 minute instructional pre-sculpting class as to how to proceed only to find that once I gave them the clay packets, they quickly started sculpting. So instead, I walked around just to monitor and give suggestions as to what will make the outcome better. This was much better because it removed the teacher aspect which many may not be comfortable with or nervous with so many eyes on your large pad and you. I told everyone to take the clay sculpting plastic taped over paper guideline to showthe approximate area and size to make the sculpture so it won't be too flat or thin, because silver can bend or sharp edges can poke you when wearing the casting. I also noticed that EVERYONE (except the kids) went right to their cell phones to get ideas or to use as a visual guide when sculpting. One woman googled tulip flowers and used that to sculpt her rendition of a tulip and one googled owls to get ideas to make her owl pendant. This link to the internet individually will now be added to the class instruction and the large pad ONLY used during the session to make a point everyone should be aware of.

The program was a smashing success and next Sunday the finished castings will be delivered. I was at first a little worried because I noticed almost everyone was playing with the clay or rolling it in their hands, unsure of what to do, BUT in about 5 minutes the creative juices kicked in and people started focusing on their ideas and continued till finished.  The clay which is hardened by simply drying in a small toaster oven (cost about $40) will be part of the casting party kit. I opted Out of the air dried clay with good reason. Because the air dry clay can become dry and brittle soon after sculpting and when someone is not sure what to sculpt this can cause the clay to dry too soon. The baking clay actually gets softer as you use it so it can be worked for hours on end with no worry about drying out.

After everyone finished I put all the art on the tray and  into the toaster oven for 15 minutes, then another 15 minutes to cool. At that time everyone ate tacos and talked about other ideas. Once the clays were cool everyone filled out the artist ID card with their name and art title and we simply put the hardened clays in envelopes with the card. This simple method will assure 100% accuracy with mass orders. A quick image taken of the orders will also assure that if one is mistaken for another sculpture we can refer to the image. EASY!

The Kids were more excited than the adults and with 22 attending at $79 each this was an art, creative, family function with the end product being more exciting than any other craft I know of.  The financial outcome of this party was the host obtaining 22 people who each paid $79 ($1,738). The host kept $25 from each attending and GNGR received the remaining $54 ($1,188). The host after $35 in food and drinks netted a very attractive $515 which is right in line with a 2 hour course that extended into 3 hours. This further proved the program can offer anyone the ability who markets locally, 2 courses per day on Saturday and 2 on Sunday and actually be able to earn $2000+ on weekends or bi weekly.

One 5 year old girl made a unicorn horn which looked more like a squished peanut and her mom asked me if she could make a more realistic unicorn horn for her daughter, in addition to her dice casting sculpture. We simply gave her some more clay and added it to the casting this week. One other child split the clay to make an EMOJI (as others did as well) and she made two smaller POOP emojis. TImes have changed with the internet on your cell phones and this can also spark more creativity as younger kids as well as adults will use this technology even to create art or obtain ideas as was the norm at this event. Once cast in sterling silver, our first 22+ castings will be posted for sale on the new website with all attendees getting that link to post to their social media friends and family. Here are some images of a successful PROFITABLE program for hosts, GNGR as well as the attendees who are shocked they can make sterling silver jewelry for LESS then buying it at retail prices with many who attended already saying they want to do this again and even maybe start their own jewelry business!. The casting party kit is available NOW to anyone who wants to start and will be listed on retail websites as well as our NeatStuffForSale website for anyone who wants to make an extra $50,000/$100,000 a year EASILY!
